We just installed a gorgeous new Lightbox exhibit, Edge of Manhattan at the Bowling Green Station on the 4/5 lines, featuring the work of fine art photographer Jay Fine. Fine, who lives near the station, focused his lens on the watery sights and scenes of Lower Manhattan. The exhibit showcases the places one sees at the edge of the city, from a marching band on a pier, to a solitary walk alongside the river to a stupendous lighting strike above the Statue of Liberty. Fine takes advantage of a high-rise vantage point to capture the shifting light and weather in NY Harbor. This Lightbox Project will be on view for one year, and was made possible with the support of Duggal Visual Solutions.
